Lawn Sports

The classic games of croquet and lawn bowling are represented as vibrant lawn sports at Pinehurst Resort. The site of many national and international lawn bowls and croquet tournaments, Pinehurst continues to draw the best in the sport to our immaculate greens.

Two croquet courts and one lawn bowling green are open to resort guests for these fun and competitive but low-key activities. Lessons and equipment are available for individuals or groups, and you can choose to play with Pinehurst Country Club Members or arrange for your own court time. Groups and wedding parties are welcome. Inquire at the Tennis Club.

Please note, all lawn sport guest requests need to be approved.

Lawn Bowl can handle up to 32 participants playing at one time.

Croquet can handle up to 24 playing at one time.  Extra players can rotate every 20 minutes.

We recommend that large groups over 30 people do both sports so they can split up for efficiency and more fun.

1.5 – 2 hours is recommended, but it will depend on the size of the group and format.

Rates include instruction, equipment, and lawn fees.

• $100, up to 3 people (based on 1 hour)
• $175, 4 people (1.5 hour)
• $275, 5-8 people (1.5 hour)
• $550, 9-16 people (1.5 hour)
• $750, 17-32 people (1.5 hour)
• Guests who know how to play and do not need staff instruction are $20 per person for up to 1.5 hours of play.

Groups larger than 32 participants will need to contact the Director of Racquet and Lawn Sports for custom pricing.
