The Carolina Dining Room has been known for ages for what many consider the best breakfast in golf – its famed Southern breakfast buffet – and for an exquisite dining experience in the evenings.
But it’s not just dinner there right now.
We are excited to share an update on the new lunch option at the Carolina Dining Room, but also your first look at the latest renderings of what will be a new lounge in the space that was the Ryder Cup Lounge, which began its renovation in January.
During that renovation, our team created a new bar area at the front of the Carolina Dining Room, which has been well received by our guests at The Carolina Hotel and gives a great new ambiance to the dinner experience there.

But the Carolina Dining Room is now also open for lunch with a menu that features an impressive variety of dishes. Those include starters like Firecracker Shrimp, Pumpkin Seed Crusted Tuna and Hickory Smoked Wings. There are numerous salad choices and a great selection of handheld options, like the Mushroom Po Boy, the Carolina Burger, the BBQ Pork Cubano and Tomato Mozzarella Wrap, among many others.
Lunch is available at the Carolina Dining Room between 11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. every day. A lighter fare menu is available from 4 p.m.-5:30 p.m. before dinner begins. Resort guests and the locals are always welcome, and dinner reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 855.235.8507 (Option 6).
Work renovating the new lounge area is well under way and plans are to have it complete by the end of the year. The new lounge will be a perfect complement to many of the newer renovations already complete at The Carolina Hotel, which include the lobby, the widened veranda and the new outdoor fire pits.
A new name has not been made official yet, but we are delighted to be able to share the latest renderings:
