Play hickories when you play at Pinehurst

As if the game wasn’t hard enough, right?

But as is often said on the first tee of Pinehurst No. 2 as the knees begin to knock – hey, just enjoy the experience.

And so, we hope we’ve added a little bit more to that experience with our hickory clubs.

Now, you can play any of our courses at Pinehurst with a set of custom Tad Moore hickory-shafted clubs. Rentals for the sets are $50 per person. Just contact someone in the Golf Shop when you are checking in about the hickories for more information.

Enjoy them at any course, but we might even suggest one of two – perhaps, Pinehurst No. 1, our first course, which was redesigned by a young Donald Ross in 1901. Or try Pinehurst No. 3, a par-68 at just 5,155 yards at its longest. Careful, though, some believe No. 3 might be the best-kept secret of all Pinehurst golf.
