The Driving Range at Maniac Hill is modified to allow members and guests to hit into a temporary net while U.S. Open construction occurs through March 2025.

Practice facilities and a full driving range are available at Courses 6-9.

There’s nothing like Pinehurst No. 8 at Pinehurst Resort — especially in 2025.

Pinehurst has announced the first five resort cottages at Pinehurst No. 8 will be complete and ready for guest reservations by May 1, 2025. By next fall, all nine cottages will be complete, offering a total of 52 new rooms.

It is the first time Pinehurst Resort, home to four historic hotels in the Village of Pinehurst, will offer premium, luxury accommodations with sweeping golf course views.

Each cottage is two levels with some featuring four bedrooms on each floor and some with two bedrooms on each floor. Inside, a recreation room with a pool table and a common sitting area with a fireplace are coupled with spacious decks and porches outside, overlooking parts of four holes of Pinehurst No. 8. Around and between the cottages will be numerous fire pits, a pavilion and a large putting green that can be lit and played into the night. Cottage guests will also have nearby access to No. 8’s fully renovated clubhouse and its restaurant, which will expand its services.

“The cottages will be an immersive, highly personalized and private golf experience for our guests,” says Eric Kuester, vice president of sales and marketing at Pinehurst Resort. “This will be a next-level luxury offering that can be customized to golf groups, especially, and an experience that’s never really been done here before to this degree.”

The St. Andrews room is currently under construction and not accessible via the main hallway in the clubhouse. More details on this exciting new restaurant will be available soon!

Updates to Payne’s Pub and Laddie’s Court are moving quickly! We are looking forward to welcoming Member’s back to an updated dining experience.

Planned opening date: March 7

Repairs have been made and additional renovations to this space continue to be made.

Expected completion: February 21

SIGHTS AND SOUNDS
Pinehurst Sandmines is under development, and we are extremely excited to share more of our future plans for this area with you soon. For a time, there may be some noise from construction and you may see a few vehicles transporting materials.

Fencing will surround areas of construction to keep guests and players safe.

GOLF SHOP & CHECK-IN
While the area takes shape, a temporary golf shop is on site with staff eager to assist players with check-in. The shop also features the first offerings of exclusive Pinehurst Sandmines merchandise, including hats, polos, pullovers, towels headcovers and other accessories.

TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING
Guests are encouraged to utilize our complimentary shuttles to and from No. 10, there is additional parking on site if driving to No.10 is preferred. Guests should expect a wait time of 15-20 minutes for shuttles to arrive once dispatched.

WALKING AND CADDIES
No. 10 is designed as a walking course and is best experienced with the use of a caddie. Push carts will be available at the first tee and are complimentary.

Players taking a caddie will meet them at the first tee 15 minutes prior to tee time.

RESTROOMS
On course restrooms are located at the turn house on the 9^th & 15^th tee.  Restroom trailers are available at the temporary golf shop and 4th tee.

FOOD & DRINK
Enjoy crazy good food at Pinehurst’s new roaming kitchen, Maniac Grill. Pinehurst’s first food truck serves up locally sourced sandwiches and wraps like The Wild Gobbler – with bourbon onions, melted cheddar and peach BBQ sauce – and snacks like loaded tots. Hours: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Snacks and NA beverages are available from 9:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Beer and seltzers are available for purchase; liquor is not available currently.

The turn house is located on the 9^th and 15^th tee. Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Water stations are available throughout the course on the 4^th, 6^th, 9^th, 12^th, and 15^th tees.

PRO SHOP AND GRILLE
Construction continues on the new Pro Shop location at Pinehurst Sandmines. The Pro Shop will be accessible next to the Practice Green at Pinehurst No. 10.

A new grille will also be available next door. More details to come!

Rooms in the East Wing of the Carolina Hotel are currently under construction.

New carpet will be installed and other renovations will be completed by mid-March.

The Teaching Academy has been relocated to Course No. 8. With some of the finest instructors and facilities in the world at their disposal, Pinehurst’s Golf Schools are able to offer a wide variety of programs catered to different ages, skill levels, group types and more.
